Leif Hanson
Special Advisor to Golf
Leif believes his coaching style lets his students take ownership of their own growth by giving them the fundamentals to excel with their golf swing. Although he believes repetition is very valuable, he employs the method of practice like you play because players should practice all situations that might arise on the golf course. Leif also enjoys the business aspect of golf and hopes he can mold Global student athletes to one day become PGA of Canada Professionals.

- Mentored by both PGA of Alberta and PGA of Canada Teaching Professionals
Leif is originally from Claresholm, Alberta where he grew up playing hockey, golf and baseball.
He has had the privilege to work at courses like Kananaskis Country GC, Paradise Canyon GR, Earl Grey GC and now River Spirit GC. He currently resides in Airdrie with his wife Julie and his three kids, Charlie (19), Ashling (5) and Cael (2).
