Chad’s coaching philosophies are built on the pillars of hard work, respect, and having fun. He believes that hockey is a game that can teach many different life lessons and that it allows us to make lifelong memories and friendships. Chad is a big believer in you will get as much out of the game as you put into it.

Chad was born in Whitecourt, AB, both his brother and father (retired) are RCMP officers. Chad is a coach that believes in hard work, respect and having fun along the way. He passes down to young athletes that success comes from commitment and dedication to being the best you can be each day. Before his coaching career, Chad had spent 5 seasons playing with the Western Hockey League’s Vancouver Giants and helping them capture a WHL title in 2006.

Chad currently lives in Airdrie with his wife and 2 daughters.

Something that not many people know about Chad is that he was a private investigator for a short time where he worked security.
