Program Details
Designed so students can pursue their passion in an empowering program that is supported by academic and athletic leadership - all within your regular school timetable! Earn up to 30 High School credits while you pursue your passion for sport. Global serves as one option each semester and*, allowing students to be fully integrated into the academic model and school culture.
Global Sport Academy collaboratively customizes the program design based on both School Division and School requirements.
*in most cases does not take away from the core course requirements or schedule
PRICING ALERT FOR RE-REGISTRATION
We are introducing a direct-debit option of payment that will save you 3% off the website price for your respective program. Direct-debit payments will be distributed over four (4) payments, to be paid in full by October 2023.
Please contact (Denise; ) if you are interested in the direct debit payment method before January 16, 2023 (and before registering online). We will then set up a time to coordinate your direct-debit info and get your payment dates setup accordingly.
Registration by Location
Prince Albert
Grade 7 - 8 Hockey$3,440 + GST
- Applicable to Grade 7-8 student-athletes in the Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division
- Location: Kinsmen Arena/Art Hauser Arena/Carlton Comprehensive High School
- Cadence: Half-time Program
- Student-athletes attend Global programming every Tuesday and Thursday and every other Wednesday
- Occurs in the afternoon immediately following the lunch hour
- In a two-week cycle, student-athletes will typically attend four sport specific sessions and one multisport or classroom session
- Round-trip transportation is provided for student-athletes who attend schools within the city limits (student-athletes attending a school outside of the city limits will be required to find their own means of transportation)
Grade 9-12 Hockey$4,920 + GST
- Applicable: All grade 9-12 student-athletes attending Carlton Comprehensive High School
- Location: Art Hauser Arena and Carlton Comprehensive High School
- Cadence: Full-Time Program
- Student-athletes attend Global everyday during their morning block
- Global is paired with an academic course led by a Vanier Collegiate teacher
- A typical week includes two sport-specific sessions, two classroom sessions and one multi-sport session
Grade 9-12 Athletics$4,680 + GST
- Applicable: All grade 9-12 student-athletes attending Carlton Comprehensive High School (non-hockey athletes)
- Location: Alfred Jenkins Field House and Carlton Comprehensive High School
- Cadence: Full-Time Program
- Student-athletes attend Global everyday during their morning block
- Global is paired with an academic course led by a Vanier Collegiate teacher
- A typical week includes two sport-specific sessions, two classroom sessions and one multi-sport session
Grade 9-12 Hybrid (Golf/Hockey)$TBD
- Applicable: All grade 9-12 student-athletes attending Carlton Comprehensive High School
- Location: Art HauserArena/Carlton Comprehensive High School/Cooke Municipal Golf Course
- Cadence: Full-Time Program
- Student-athletes attend Global everyday during their morning block
- Global is paired with an academic course led by a Vanier Collegiate teacher
- A typical week includes two sport-specific sessions, two classroom sessions and one multi-sport session
- Golf occurs September-October and April-June

Program Details:
- Mandatory Training Apparel Package is included
- All fees are payable to Village Sports Inc.
- Payment plan schedules are provided within the online application package
- Additional school fees (and possible insurancce fees) may apply and are payable to the school
- Full refunds are issued if you are not accepted into the program (less the application fee)
- There are no refunds due to injury or withdrawal during our program
- If athletes are expelled or removed from the program, there will be no refund
- Once accepted, program fees are non-refundable
- On ice jerseys are provided.
- Athletes are required to provide all sport related gear including a water bottle and proper footwear for multi-sport training.
