Jamie is a mentor and development coach who prides himself on positive teaching methods and ethical decision-making. Valued as a leader in skill development for players and coaches throughout the hockey industry, Jamie has mentored minor hockey coaches from Initiation to Midget for the last 15 years. Jamie’s philosophy embraces respect, passion, integrity, work ethic and character, which he shares with everyone involved in the Global Sport Academy. Jamie’s role in Global is to oversee staff development and program execution.

Jamie was originally from Saint John, New Brunswick, where he played multiple sports growing up including hockey, baseball, lacrosse, basketball and golf. Jamie has gone on to live in High Level, Alberta, Calgary, Alberta and Quispamsis, New Brunswick, and currently lives in Okotoks, Alberta with his wife Sonya and 2 sons Nathan (14) and Adrien (10).
In his free time Jamie enjoys camping, fishing and golfing with friends and family. He is most proud of his 2 boys!
