Colin is a driven and accomplished individual with a Business Degree from Mount Royal University, majoring in General Management and minoring in Innovation & Entrepreneurship and Marketing. His coaching experience spans over a decade, including roles as a Goalie Coach for 10 years, Head Coach for Crusaders Hockey for 1 year, Assistant Coach for Crusaders Hockey for 1 year, and 2 years as Video & Skills Coach.

With a diverse work background, Colin has gained valuable experience in various industries. Colin has worked in business development for Simpson Group Insurance, held the position of Head Coach for Crusaders Hockey, contributed to business development for Victoria Royals, and even served as an Emergency Back Up Goalie for the Calgary Flames.

As a coach, Colin brings an energetic approach, striking a balance between intensity and fun. They believe in pushing players to achieve their best while fostering personal growth through a positive and uplifting coaching style. Colin's biggest accomplishment was being named Mount Royal's Brian Fleming Student Athlete of the Year during their senior season, recognizing their outstanding athletic performance, academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, and community involvement.

When it comes to advice to young athletes, Colin emphasizes that one's identity should not be solely defined by their athletic pursuits. They encourage athletes to be the best versions of themselves in all aspects of life, highlighting the importance of personal growth beyond sports.

Colin lives in Calgary with his wife and is expecting his first baby in June 2023.
