Rob Godfrey

Manager of STIX Tournaments

Rob has a strong reputation in the Calgary area for helping families navigate through their hockey journey. Rob believes coaches have a responsibility to be firm yet fair in order to help players reach their full potential as athletes, students and citizens. What Rob is most proud of are the very strong relationships he’s built with numerous hockey families over the years. Rob’s role in Global is to oversee business development within the STIX Hockey arm, while continuing to help families make sound hockey decisions.

  • Associate Director -- Varsity Athletics, Mount Royal University 2011-present

    • Assistant Coach – Mount Royal University – CIS – 2012-2014
    • Assistant Coach – Holy Cross – NCAA Division 1 – 2007-2011
    • STIX Coach Hockey Coach – 2012-2016

Rob played minor hockey in his hometown of Thunder Bay, Ontario. He then proceeded to play four years at the Junior A level, before accepting a NCAA Division 1 scholarship at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. In 2007 Rob graduated as a student-athlete, but remained with his alma mater as an Assistant Coach through the Summer of 2011.

Rob relocated to Calgary in September of 2011, where he currently lives with his wife Megan, two sons,Griffin and Hunter, and dog Arrow in Cochrane, Alberta
