Global Golf moves to new home at the Bearspaw Golf & Country Club
Global Sport Academy is extremely pleased to announce the move of their Golf program to its new home at the Bearspaw Golf & Country Club, in a new agreement with partner Windmill Golf Group.
Athletes with the Golf program at Global Sport Academy will have access to the beautiful 6,000+ yards, par-71 course, as well as the driving range, 2 putting greens and an approach green. The course design is described as offering up fresh challenges while still being approachable to newcomers and students of the game.
“The Global Golf program is incredibly excited to partner with the Windmill Golf Group and Bearspaw Country Club for the 2019/20 school year. Bearspaw is widely known as one of the most prestigious courses in the city, providing a great test of course management and shot execution for our athletes to hone their skills,” says David Addison, Co-Manager of Springbank Sports Academy. “In addition to the driving range and two large putting greens, the short game area provides every shot type a player would need to execute from 90 yards. This will be incredibly valuable as players learn to take their scores lower in the scoring zone on the course.”
“We would like to thank Leif Hanson and the Windmill Golf Group for this opportunity!”
The golf program’s move to Bearspaw begins immediately and will continue through the entirety of the 2019-2020 calendar year.
